Our Process
Initial Visit to Your Basement
During the initial visit, you get to meet one of our project managers/coordinators. Our project managers bring along a wealth of basement design experience and will provide valuable advice that will help you achieve your goals. During the first meeting, they will walk through your space with you and ask for your wish list. They will also take measurements of your space and sketch up the area and make inputs to achieve an effective basement design that suits your vision while still making efficient use of your available space.
Second Meeting
This second meeting usually occurs within a week of the first visit. At this point, our project coordinator/manager (in most cases the same one who came in the first visit) returns to your home with 2D & 3D drawings of design options. You may also choose to hold the second meeting at our office. This is your opportunity to visualize what the end product of each design option discussed would look like and to review other basement development projects we have completed. Our project managers also answer additional questions you may have about your basement development project during this meeting.

Furthermore, our project managers review the detailed quote for each design option proposed for your basement to ensure that you understand the value you are getting for the price we are offering. The last thing you need during a basement construction project is a surprise on the final costs of your project. Hence, we don’t provide estimates, but Quotes. We promise your project will not cost you more than quoted for the agreed scope of work.

After the review of drawings and quotes, you are under no obligation to proceed to contract stage. If you require additional time to make a decision, our project manager will leave you with copies of our detailed quote(s) while we simply wait for you to make a decision.

Selection Stage
Once you have decided to award your basement development project to us, we will arrange a selection meeting to go over specific preferences and selections i.e Colours, Carpets, Tiles etc.; required to finish the construction of your basement development project.
Contract Stage
Once you have completed your selection process for your basement development project, one of our project coordinators/managers will deliver a copy of our contract document to you for your review. Our contract is simply written and easy to read through. It provides information about our obligations to you and your obligations as a client. We expect that you would make out time to read through the contract. Hence, we will allow sufficient time for you to review and sign the contract.
Basement Construction
From inception to completion of your basement development project, we assign a dedicated project manager/coordinator to assist you throughout the various phases of the project. This project manager/coordinator is often the same individual who attended the initial and second meeting with you. This is to ensure that you are working with a staff member who understands what is important to you and the promise we have made to you.
